Loveyappa turned out better than I expected with its fresh take on how social media affects modern situations and everyday struggles. I feel like the film does a good job exploring issues like trust, body shaming, and deep fakes while showing how GenZ is super active online but often disconnected in real life. The contrast between their digital and real world image is shown well. Kiku Sharda’s emotional scene fits in nicely with the story and adds depth to the film’s light hearted tone. Ashutosh Rana’s performance was solid as usual just like he always delivers. The story and execution are engaging, but I think if the lead cast was stronger, it could have been even better. Overall, Loveyappa is a simple, feel good movie that today’s digital generation can easily relate to.
